The aptly named Backwoods is a pow and tight tree hound for riders who love pointing it , but also ride more technical, big mountain lines as well. This versatility is achieved by taking a typical directional powder shape with a wider nose, narrow tail, and set back stance, and then throwing in a stiffer-than-expected flex. This makes for excellent float in deep pow while providing the stability needed to rail hard turns on bigger faces. Toss in a snappy, lightweight core, triax wrap, and carbon stringers, and you’re set with a board that matches your aggressive riding style.
